In "Exhibition Room II" on the 2nd floor, commemorating the 90th anniversary of the birth of Fujiko・F・Fujio, we are holding an exhibition of original drawings focused on what Professor F liked.
Fujiko・F・Fujio 90th Birth Anniversary Original Drawings Exhibition: The Manga World of Fujiko・F・Fujio Born from "What He Loved"
From the many manga strongly depicting what Professor F loved, we introduce original drawings related to "the Moon," under the theme of "Yearning for Space."
"Japanese Man Stands on the Moon" (from Obake no Q-tarō)
"Lunar Map of the Edo Period" (from Kiteretsu Daihyakka)
"Mikio's Triumphs" (from Mikio to Mikio)
"Keep Walking, Even to the Moon" (from Doraemon)
It is said that Professor F collected and carefully stored newspaper articles and magazines from the time of the Apollo 11 Moon landing.
The exhibited works, including the original drawings introduced here, can be viewed until Monday, October 21st.
*Note: Obake no Q-tarō is a co-authored work with Professor Fujiko Fujio Ⓐ.
