Yesterday's gloomy weather seemed like a lie
Not a single cloud in the blue sky!
In such nice weather,
I went out for a little trip!
Where did I go, you ask....
The venue for the "Fujimoto Prize" awards ceremony,
held at a hotel in Tokyo!
The "Fujimoto Prize" was established in 1981
to honor the achievements of Mr. Fujimoto Masumi,
the first president of Toho and a film producer.
It is awarded to filmmakers who have made significant achievements in the previous year.
For such a prestigious award,
the three producers of "STAND BY ME Doraemon"
were selected!!
Among them was Director-General Ito of our museum!
"It was a project I had initially intended to turn down,
but I was able to meet with the two directors who love
Fujiko・F・Fujio Sensei's original work,
and that made me decide to entrust it to them.
I would like to express my gratitude to everyone involved
for making such a wonderful film."
After the awards ceremony,
we took a commemorative photo with everyone
from the "STAND BY ME Doraemon"
production team who came to celebrate♪
The great achievement of "Doraemon" created by
F Sensei!
Once again, I was reminded of
F Sensei's amazing talent
and the wonderfulness of the work.
