"Masterpiece Theater Camera" Nobita and the others are set to perform the play Romeo and Juliet. Shizuka is cast as Juliet, and as a result of the draw, Suneo is chosen as Romeo. Big G plays the Friar, and Nobita ends up playing non-human roles like "tree" and "horse"...
However, the day before the performance, Shizuka catches a cold and cannot appear. While Shizuka is disappointed, they cannot find a girl to take the understudy role.
Seeing Nobita in distress, Doraemon takes out the "Masterpiece Theater Camera," a gadget that allows the user to fully embody a role simply by setting the character they want to play and taking a picture. With this, anyone can play Juliet.
And surprisingly, Nobita ends up playing the role of Juliet...!
Solve difficult problems while sleeping! "Three-Year Sleepyhead Pillow" While Nobita is taking a nap on the hill behind the house, some men arrive and wake him up, telling him he's "in the way!" Having no choice, Nobita goes to sleep in his room...
Astonished by Nobita's behavior, Doraemon begins to tell the story of the "Three-Year Sleepyhead" (Sannen Netaro). Once upon a time, there was a man who slept for three years straight, earning him the name Netaro. However, when Netaro suddenly woke up one day and moved a massive rock, the river's course changed, and the dried-up rice paddies in the village were filled with water! Netaro hadn't just been sleeping; he had been thinking of a way to solve the villagers' problems.
After finishing the story, Doraemon takes out the "Netaro Pillow," which, like Netaro, allows the user to solve any problem while they sleep. Getting carried away, Nobita decides to use the Netaro Pillow to help people...!
